The Stone-Robinson fifth graders had a Skype visit with an elementary school in Germany. Mrs. Campbell, one of our SRES parents, kindly offered to connect us with her alma mater, Tonstrasse School in Duisberg. Students prepared for this visit by learning some of the history of their town, and brushing up on some German. Our fifth graders performed songs for their students, and their orchestra and choir performed for us. Many thanks to Mrs. Campbell for giving us a German lesson! Our students were able to introduce themselves and ask questions in German. She also helped translate during the Skype visit, and spent a lot of time helping us correspond with them prior to the visit.
